Form SSP 1L discontinued
From the 27 October 2008 form SSP 1L (Leavers statement of SSP) will be discontinued. Periods of SSP with a previous employer will no longer count towards an employees maximum period of SSP - so SSP 1L will no longer be needed.
As a result do not issue an SSP 1L to any employee who leaves their employment on or after 27 October 2008 and do not accept or take into account an SSP 1L for any PIW that commences on or after the 27th. Story By: Stephen Freestone
